Bleeding in dogs cannot always be prevented, but you can take some precautions to reduce the risk. The most important tips are:

  • Have your dog regularly examined and vaccinated by the vet
  • Care for your dog's teeth and gums with suitable products and have them checked regularly by the vet
  • Feed your dog a balanced and high-quality diet
